Growing up, our founder Saumya Agarwal’s world was filled with curiosity and wonder, especially towards science and engineering. These subjects captivated her imagination, and she excelled in them throughout high school, poised to pursue a career in these fields. Yet, as college applications loomed, a different call - a creative impulse - began to resonate more strongly within her.

Faced with a decision, she stood at a crossroads: the structured allure of science or the boundless creativity of fashion? It was a choice that seemed to demand she leave one path entirely for the other. In the end, the vibrant and expressive world of fashion won her heart, but her fascination with technology never left her. Many have asked her why, after years dedicated to physics and chemistry, she would pivot so dramatically to pursue a career in fashion. "Was studying science a total waste?" they’d wonder. Her answer is profoundly no. After completing her undergraduate studies at NIFT Bengaluru, she furthered her education at the London College of Fashion. The experience only deepened her appreciation for fashion’s artistry, but the scientist in her yearned for something more—something innovative.
